How entries are selected, verified, written, and maintained in the Rujeya index.
Rujeya publishes a directory of publicly funded services in Polish cities. Every entry follows the same process before publication. This page documents that process.
An entry is added to the index only when the service is documented on an official source. This means a government ministry website, a municipal administration portal (usually ending in .pl or following the format miasto.pl), a bar association publication, or an official act of law.
Blog posts, news articles, and community forums are not accepted as primary sources. They may be referenced in an entry's notes if they provide useful context, but the core facts must come from an institutional source.
Entries describe what a service is, who is eligible, and how to access it. They do not recommend the service, compare it to alternatives, or advise readers on whether to use it. The index describes; it does not prescribe.
Where eligibility conditions are complex, the entry maps the conditions as documented in official sources. Where conditions are ambiguous in official documentation, the entry notes the ambiguity rather than resolving it editorially.
Public services change. Budgets are revised. Programs are suspended, extended, or restructured. An entry that was accurate in one quarter may be inaccurate in the next.
Each entry carries a last-verified date. When an official source is updated, the corresponding entry is reviewed within a reasonable period. Entries that cannot be verified against a current official source are marked as "under review" and are not removed until the status of the service is confirmed.
Readers are advised in every entry to confirm current availability directly with the relevant institution before taking action based on the information provided here.
No entry on this site should be treated as a guarantee that a service is currently available. Official confirmation from the administering institution is always the authoritative source.
The index is written in English. Official Polish sources are summarized in English. Where a Polish term has no direct English equivalent, the Polish term is retained and explained.
Translations of official documents are paraphrased for clarity, not provided as literal translations. Readers who need the exact wording of a regulation are directed to the source document.
Rujeya does not accept payment for listing a service, does not affiliate with any of the institutions or services it documents, and does not provide referrals. The index is not a lead generation tool.
If an entry were found to contain information that commercially benefits a third party through misrepresentation, that entry would be removed. This has not occurred to date, but the principle is documented here as a standing commitment.
Readers who identify an error, an outdated entry, or a service not yet documented can submit information via the contact page. All submissions are reviewed manually.
A submission does not guarantee inclusion. The service must be verifiable against an official source before an entry is created or amended. Corrections to existing entries are typically processed within two weeks of receipt.
